My wife and I participated in last night's Twilight Walk for Wishes as part of team Alicia Lynn Rocks. Alicia is the daughter of our friends Bob and Linda, who lost her battle with cancer in 2005. The walk was held at a Swainson's Hawk Park in a developing area of Natomas. We contributed a total of $150 towards the effort. The annual walk benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This was our third year of participation.The 2.4 mile walk was around the shores of "Fisherman's Lake", a man-made lake in the park that was quite enjoyable, although a bit warm while the sun was still up.
